Of all the times for David's watch alarm to go off, this was definitely the least helpful. He objected, he struggled, and he squirmed, but the leafy beast didn't seem to be interested in a discussion on its dinner plans. And if the incessant beeping of the watch annoyed it, too, all the more reason to gulp David down even sooner...
